OpenClaw cut v2026.5.18 on May 18 and then tagged v2026.5.19-beta.1 a few hours later. Stable floor, beta ceiling, same lobster treadmill. Wear shoes.

What changed

OpenClaw published v2026.5.18 at 18:54Z and v2026.5.19-beta.1 at 22:58Z on May 18; the current repo baseline was still receiving commits on May 19.

02

Why it matters

ClawCharts still has OpenClaw at #1 with 2,104 seven-day commits, so the release train is the project weather, not decorative confetti.

03

Evidence

GitHub API inspected openclaw/openclaw releases and commits; ClawCharts HTTP-render payload captured OpenClaw #1. Candidate was compared against the May 18 beta.6 baseline.

04

Operator take

Publish as current release baseline. If adopting, test the stable v2026.5.18 floor before touching the 5.19 beta branch.

05

Caveat

Release notes are primary but self-authored; the beta tag should not be sold as stable just because it arrived wearing a newer number.
