ZeroClaw's beta story is runtime plumbing under visible provider trouble

ZeroClaw v0.8.0-beta-1 matters less as a version stamp than as a hinge: recent issues and PRs show runtime RPC/Unix sockets, NEAR AI Cloud provider work, Slack credential config pain, vision-provider routing bugs, and web-search anomaly handling.

Why it matters now

Runtime RPC and provider routing are the bones. The beta is interesting because the bones are moving while users are reporting where the nerves are crossed.

Latest release is v0.8.0-beta-1 on May 21; May 21 issues/PRs show current runtime/provider friction.

Evidence

Action

Publish as beta-weather plus issue pattern. Watch whether provider/vision bugs are patched before treating 0.8 as stable operator substrate.
